Geneseo College Republicans Endorse Marjorie Byrnes
Geneseo, NY—The Geneseo College Republicans are pleased to announce that its organization has endorsed Assembly Candidate Marjorie Byrnes (R-C, Caledonia) for New York State Assembly in the 133rd District. The vote to endorse Ms. Byrnes was unanimous.
With the announcement, James Connolly, President, Geneseo College Republicans, said, “The Democrats cannot lay exclusive claim to the youth vote. Republicans are resurgent across the country—and Livingston County is no exception. College Republicans understand that the policies promoted by Marjorie Byrnes and the Republican Party offer the best path forward for New York and the nation. Ms. Byrnes is a highly-qualified candidate and we look forward to supporting her in the General Election.”

I look forward to partnering with its members as we push on to November,” stated Marjorie Byrnes. “Many of these students want to stay in their home state after graduation, but they recognize that the burdensome taxation and excessive regulation is strangling entrepreneurial spirit. College Republicans understand that GOP free-market proposals offer them opportunities that the Democratic Party does not,” concluded Byrnes.
