Byrnes: District Deserves More Than ‘No Show’ Joe

Caledonia, NY—Today, Marjorie Byrnes, a Republican and the Conservative candidate for the 133rd Assembly District, released her second video ad of the campaign. The ad, “’No Show’ Joe”, calls out her primary opponent, twelve-year incumbent Assemblyman Joe Errigo, for silence in his legislative seat.

Ms. Byrnes says, “When Cuomo-donor Joe Errigo was handpicked by party bosses for an Assembly seat, he said he’d be a strong voice for our region. But when he got to Albany, all we heard were crickets.”

“Joe Errigo has failed to appear at important events across the district. There are town officials telling me that he hasn’t visited there once this term. Mr. Errigo refuses to personally speak to members of the media, preferring to send hired hands instead. Now, he’s dodging debates. The people of the 133rd Assembly District deserve more than a ‘No Show’ Joe. I’ll raise my voice for the people of this district and offer them real representation,” concluded Byrnes.
