Assembly Candidate Calls Out Cuomo For Egregious Remarks Regarding American Greatness

Caledonia, NY— Marjorie Byrnes (R-C, Caledonia) was quick to offer a response to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Wednesday remark that America “was never that great.”

In a tersely worded statement, Byrnes responded:

“This Governor needs to get a grip. The notion that America is not great and never was great is an insult to the men and women who have sacrificed much that Andrew Cuomo can enjoy First Amendment Protections for even his most egregious and ignorant political posturing. The people must demand that Governor Cuomo issue an immediate apology. His words are unfitting for any American, but especially from one who has been posturing to lead this great nation.”
