Byrnes Campaign Responds To Camp Errigo’s Baseless Attacks

Caledonia, NY— Marjorie Byrnes’ (R-C, Caledonia) surging campaign must be making the Errigo campaign nervous, because they are stepping up their dirty tricks against Byrnes hiring of campaign staff. Marjorie responded by saying:

“Of course, I hired Jason McGuire to run my campaign. He started out as the Conservative Party’s candidate two years ago and knows better than most what a disappointment Joe Errigo has been to both Republicans and Conservatives. Campaigns often don’t share information about who is on their team until after the election, but I’m running a different kind of campaign, and unlike my opponent, I will always be above-board with my constituents. I’m afraid we’ll see more of these kinds of dirty tricks as the voters learn more about Joe Errigo’s record of backing Andrew Cuomo and the Albany insiders feel their grip on power slipping away.”

“Politically, I appreciate the fact that the Errigo campaign is grasping at every last straw to prop up their failing candidacy, but this latest hit is a reach even for them.
